It does. The ShiLin can be found in China, Taiwan, and various parts of SE Asia. Never saw one with a ring lock. Definitely interesting as the original ShiLin was a slipjoint like the Opinels. I should speak to Bob Lum about doing one up like that.

I was thinking of the usefulness of the blade shape/handle shape, and the cheapness/ergos of the opinel.
