Didn't feel bad in the hand but the Old handles are just to blocky for my taste. So I borrowed some micarta from my Bk5. And now she feels perfect!!
And looks great too......

Great blade! It's a shame they are not bringing this one back...

I can't wait to really get out and cut stuff up with this baby!!

I have some canvas and think I will make a batch of micarta this weekend and make a set of handles for her!

Now I only have to decide if I should strip her or not??

wow.. nice score man.. this is making me want to get my blank (BK6) ground out and all dressed up...i haven't been in a position to be able to do so as of yet.... use it well.
 
Awesome new tool you've got there...I know this might not sit to well with you guys but if the BK-6 came back as a made in Taiwan knife would you still buy it?

Yep. I would love to get my hands on one even if it were made in Taiwan. It would be slightly less awesome than the American made but I think it would still be pretty freakin' awesome.
 
Sweet score! Dress it up and make it pretty, then spend the rest of your time punishing it for daring to look so good!

It would depend on the steel and quality control... on second thought, I'm pretty sure if Ethan would put his name on it, and Ka-Bar would stand behind it I'd be happy with it!

Absolutely.

I care about quality and truth that what's in the box is what the manufacturer claims is in there. A long as ive got those, it Don't matter to me what country it was made in.
 
Thats a tough one. I would rather Ethan stuck to his guns and kept all Beckers made in USA. Even if we dont get a BK6
