Here They Are!

It looks like you're measuring in different spots on the blade of the JYD II.

He is measuring at non-comparable points, so the images are quantitatively useless.

As Rat suggests, we are dealing with nothing more than a troll, IMO.

cbxer55, I'm not sure what more there is to say to you. We have apologized and offered to replace the knives. That didn't seem good enough for you.

You continue to want to repeat your story in multiple threads which I find a bit odd.
You told me and others (multiple times) that you were not interested in our offer, and that you will stick with your BM's and Spydie's. I think you should. We've heard that you will never buy another Kershaw, and that you're giving your existing Kershaw's away, (again multiple times, in again, multiple threads), I think you should. You said that you would never come back to the Kershaw sub-forum...

It appears we cannot satisfy you in any way, shape or form, and that you are reserved to continue to complain and criticize rather than get satisfaction. This kind of behavior is really beyond my control and is also not worth my time.

I bid you farewell from Kershaw Knives and wish you well in your life and knife journeys.

Calling this guy a troll isn't the right thing to do. He bought some Kershaw knives that he's not pleased with. He really should send them back to Kershaw, as I'm SURE that Kershaw will make it right.

Best of luck, cbxer55.

If you would look at post #9, I was thinking of sending them back.
I may still. Give me some time.
I am taking mandatory training at work and will be working late every day this week.
If I have a mind to, I will package them and send them your way this weekend.
If you never get them, I did'nt.
Don't hold your breath.

Don't hold your breath that he will leave, either...

...then some 45 posts later, he's still there...

Thomas, you have shown great restraint and patience...I applaud you.

Junk Yard Dog I, bought in November.
What is up with this partially drilled hole in the left side?
Have not seen that one anywhere else.

JYD II SG2
9/32 difference in the length of the upper flat portion of the blade from side to side.
3/32 difference in width of same area.
Maybe I am nit-picking, but it is still unacceptable for a knife I paid $150.00 for. But I have folks on my birthday list that will get these some time this year. I still have the boxes.

Thanks for the pictures. But as I remember we talk about 5 knives - here there is only one.

Now this pictures does not represent you point. This is really hard to call uneven grind line. To show this you need to show that it has same distance from the tip otherwise in this curved shape it is always possible to find some points which have different width. Also angle-point of view is important - like second and third pictures does not prove anything - it is clearly taken from different angle - see how ruler looks and how shadow of the ruler placed. I pretty sure that this is also different places of the blade.

So, sorry but this does not prove anything.

I think to prove your point you need to take entire blade picture left and right side from the same angle - straight from the top and post them here side by side zoomed. In this case it will be pretty visible.

Thanks, Vassili.

Thanks Vassili,
Clear and to the point as usual. Very good arguments:thumbup:

Cheers,
jon
