Here we go again: What's your current EDC ?

LF pocket: Fisher bullet space pen

RH watch pocket: SAK Manager (the one with the tiny sheepsfoot blade)

RH pocket: keys + Inova Microlight

RH horiozontal sheath: LM Wave

RH back pocket: Spyderco SS Dragonfly PE

ManBag (not purse): Cell phone, Cybertool 29, Handera 330, PrincetonTec Rage (flashlight 4AAA, super bright), Leatherman Micra EL, 6" steel ruler, clip-on sunglasses

Probably need to add a sharpener somewhere.

BM335
CR Small Sebenza Classic

For the last couple of months my EDC has been the Benchmade 335 (Big Spender) knife/money clip. It is surprisingly rugged for such s slim knife. I like the way it's made. It is all steel. The finish was pretty dull when I bought it but with a SimiChrome polish the sides of the 335 look much better. If you remove the money clip the 335 is extremely thin.

When wearing jeans I frequently carry a Small Sebenza Classic in my watch pocket. The BM335 drops in the front pocket.

It does a heart good to see many people carrying the Spyderco Military. :)

My everyday carry has finally, after many years, settled down to a very fair level of consistency. I can almost always be found with a plain edge Military in my right pocket, and a Victorinox Cybertool 34 SAK hanging into my left pocket via a modified Victorinox belt hanger. My bag of tricks has a Leatherman PST and an Old Timer Middleman. Occasionally, if my clothes fit the occasion, I drop the Military and grab my Anso Hybrid.

Work around the house usually brings out either Doris (the Dozier K-4) or the Blackjack Small, depending on the job at hand.

I have pretty much settled into :

RF Clipped:
- At work: Spyderco Progrip LW PE (metal clips were marring too many things around the office)
- Off work: EKI Raven A with green handles and PE satin finish blade
RF In Pocket:
-Spyderco SS Cricket, PE, in pocket
-Fisher Chrome Spacepen
-ARC AAA, natural HAIII finish and white led

LF:
-Surefire L1, green LS

LR:
Cybertool 34 next to my wallet

On belt somewhere around 3 - 5 o'clock (depends on the pants and if I am packin'):
-Spyderco Chinook PE in a supercool sheath Vess made for me

Normally carry two keyrings, which have a variety of Photon IIS attached to them. I just recently added a purple Photon that I like a lot because it allows me to charge the glostuff on my Seiko dive watch very quickly.

A recently acquired Victorinox Farmer in red alox is taking the place of my other SAKS, also, as usual, a Schrade Uncle Henry Premiunm Stockman.

Non-knives: Leatherman original (I don´t think of that one as a knife), Acme whistle, Pelikan LED flashlight, Hering Harmonica, Delta Fountain pen, Colibri lighter, Brunton compass, magnifying glass, etc., etc.

As a resident of the U.K i'm limited to non-locking blades <3", so unfortunatley its the following;

- Victorinox Junior
- Swisstec utli-key
- Photon II (white)

Buzzbait, I WISH I could carry my Military everyday here at work. Alas, that ain't gonna happen at this Govt facility. I have to make do with my Small Sebenza in the right pocket and the Victorinox Mini Swiss Champ in the 5th pocket. :) Somehow, I think I'll be allright.

My previous EDC was a CS Voyager medium with an all serrated blade. At least until I loaned to my son and he lost it at his grandparents farm. Oh well, at least at 8 years old, he offered to pay to replace it even though he knew it was going to cost $30 (closeout special at CS).

Part of it caused by me since I insisted he carry a knife when he forgot his and the pants he had have real shallow front pockets.

Oh well, lesson learned for both of us.

Thanks

Albin

Beautiful knives. They all apear to be customs. Can you please name the makers and which models correspond. I'm especially interested in the one with the Spyderco hole, as that is my favorite deployment method.

I'd be honored. From top to bottom:
1. RJ Martin Kozuka - Not quite sure what's up with this particular S30V chisel grind as it performs remarkably well. Freakishly sharp.
2. Russ Andrews Hunter - That's all that needs to be said.
3. ADV/Pirela Ishazi Folder - The handle was perfect as was, but I sent it back for a new blade shape (pointier with less of a recurve) made of S30V. The steel selection isn't too important, but the new shape is nice (not that the old one wasn't). Mr. deVilliers was nice enough to make a great knife perfect for a very reasonable fee. Check out www.pirelabladedesign.com for some upcoming genius.
4. Darrel Ralph EDC - Fighter style 420V blade. 420V is maybe my favorite folder steel.

Today I carried the following:

CRK Mnandi w/snakewood scales

BM 720

Victorinox Handyman

Arc LSH - P

Arc AAA (on keychain)

I THOUGHT that last knife looked familiar. Without the cut outs in the handle though I couldn't pinpoint it.
