You have some beautiful knives. I have always liked stag on any Buck knife. :thumbup:

Thanks, I really love the stag myself. I have quite a few other brands besides Buck with stag handles.
I have several other Buck stag's but these are the new ones and I've already posted pictures of the others.
I've just about decided to order another custom using the Elk this time instead of the Sambar. I have the 2007 BCCI stag 111 on its way and also the custom shop 110 in Sambar stag and damascus blade that was listed here in the Buck knives for sale.

what is that one in the 3rd picture below the Dorado?
and if you dont mind me askin, how much was the leather in the last picture
-its always amazed me how much leather scales price out at.(when they arent tooled)

If I understand which one you are asking about, I believe it's a Squire. The LE box doesn't say, but it fits the dimensions. I paid $135 delivered for the leather one.
 
I am not a BCCI member yet, but I have many of the BCCI exclusive knives that I've bought the last few years. I haven't ordered anything from the custom shop yet either but you guys are making me want to. most of the stag knives that I have are pre sambar stag. I don't particularly like the sambar as well but it's still stag, right? I'm looking at a 301 stag right now that I'd like to buy, I've never seen one before.

Does that Squire have a 2nd blade on it?

I love the look of that leather scale and especially your tooled design
but I've seen over $200 regularly and it doesnt seem that a common material like leather should command that high of a price-is there a reason for it?

Oh, I missunderstood which one you were asking about. The one directly below the Dorado is a 701. It has three blades.

I have no idea why the leather is so costly. It's cool and I just "needed" to have one.:)
