Or, if you are a piglet who has done his homework, or read this entire thread; you might have learned that this is an updated version of an old Busse Combat dagger.

Which you could use as a throwing knife. Just like most any Busse can be used as a thrower.
 
I wonder if this is what's to come from the Janitor's closet. If so, at the suggested price point in the other thread, I gotta get in on this.
