FBM LE = full flatWhat was the thickness and weight of the CG FBM?
Was the FBM LE full height flat grind? Can't remember.
Noticed your question—happened to run across an old listing on Steel Addiction for an original CG FBM with CBT, inc. specs:What was the thickness and weight of the CG FBM?
To me its just traveling along the force continuum. That firepower vs mobility balance. From the FFBM to the FBM to this new anorexic FBM ..less bacon behind your swing but easier to carry, much faster in the hand. An they will all chop great. In fact I've noticed a bit of a machete effect with my thinner choppers. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't lightening the Mistress make it less effective at it's intended purpose of chopping? I can see how it might improve it in general badassery, but wouldn't someone actually wanting to use it be better off with the FBM?
I know the specs are for the canvas handle, but is the picture? The last couple knives I’ve purchased have the black canvas and they don’t look like that. I’ll be getting the canvas handle either way, but it would be great if they were that dark.
