Here's a tough one, help me remember this 80's toy.

I had gobs of them, in fact I think that I might still have time somewhere in my parrent's attic.

I also used to have the wrestling ring that you could get with it.

As soon as I read the OP, I remembered having some of these guys!! They were cool. We used to set em up on opposite sides and take turns throwing a marble or something at the other side's guys. Last one to have one standing won.;)

Thanks for the post, good little bit of nostalgia there. The link to the page that had them all laid out had a bunch of designs that I remember having.

Cheers,
Jon

Funny, I don't remember them at all. I'm 37, so maybe I was a little old for them in their heyday.

i have a red one. and a green one i think.

Anyone remember Z-bots? these M.U.S.C.L.E figures remind me a lot of them. :D

I still have a few of my M.U.S.C.L.E. men.
This thread is crazy, because I have them in the garage and was just out there looking at them thinking of old times.

I have been meaning to post this thread for atleast a couple years now.

I've thought of them fondly for years now, but could never remember the name so I couldn't find it on the net. I've been trying to rack my brain for years now trying to remember what they were called.

To be honest, I really thought no one would remember these things. I was dumbfounded that so many people here collected them.

AND I've still got them. Yeah I was pretty much a compulsive collector even then.

That's pretty good. Don't ever get rid of them. They'll be a source of great memories for ever. I regret not having my original ones anymore. With all the moves all over the world I have lost mine before even the 90's started. I haven't held or even saw one in real life in 17 years atleast.

I miss them a lot, but only from a nostalgia point of view, I wouldn't go out of my way to collect them now.

What I do wish I had even more then my muscle men were my HUGE collection of baseball cards. I can't even remember what happened to them all.

They seem to have been released in 1992, so it's a bit late for me.

They do remind me of Transformers though. I remember having a bunch of first gen Transformers in the early to mid 80's.

CHeck out this photo of me in the mid 80's.
How very 80's.
Transformers cassette/robot(soundwave-decepticon)

, Star Wars/Darth Vader T-shirt, and if you look closely a calculator watch (which was a big deal back then).

WOW, I totally remember those. Never knew what they were called but I remember them. Got them as hand-me-downs. That's funny.

I'm with the other old farts around here. I don't ever remember seeing them. Of course, I graduated high school in 86.

Erector sets...now that's cool.

I remember the cool toys of my youth.
-SuckerMan. Crawled down walls with a crackling pop noise
-Airball gun. Cock it and launch a puff of air 20'. Great fun in college!
-Lawn Darts. 'Nuff said.
-Trackball. Jai Alai w/ a wiffle ball. Good for beaning you little bro in the ear!

I remember my lawn darts,
