and a nice leather sheath with it sir. a very well made package. classic and elegant. very well done. i am sure there will be one very happy customer soon.

That is super clean. Love how nicely integrated that guard and handle are...seems to really work. Handle ergos look simple and effective. Not a big fan of the clip, but I understand you are going for a certain style here. Great looking blade Scott! Sheath looks great also.

Thanks guys. I know what you mean about the clip Ken. I'm not a huge fan of them for working outdoor knives. I do try and keep it from being upswept which I really do not care for. The elk is so labor intensive. I spent 2 hours just prepping the scales for the handle. Cutting and sanding them to fit flush to the tang and guard. Really tedious work.

I'm not a clip fan either but that one really works.
I hope you don't mind my saying this but it reminds me quite a bit of the Ruana Bowies that I've been ogling lately.

Yes, a couple of buddies told me the same thing about looking similar to the Ruana bowies.

If I was a knifemaker, I believe I would take that as a compliment.

That blade is awsome, I love the handle especially it reminds me of one my grandpa had when I was a kid. It wasn't as big but the handle was just like that. I love that blade

Thanks! This is one I wish I would have hung onto. Hard to find good elk like this one has.
