I'm always pleased to see Sher send something we didn't order because it is something he wanted to make and this shows.

I'm not sure what to call this knife. It looks like an Ang Khola but is actually a dui chirra. Sher has put a very nice full length fuller into the blade. He's also doctored it up with scroll work and brass inlay and has put the eye of the dove cho into the blade and it has the "almost convex" Sher edge. Finish is a notch above magic stone mirror. Silver mounted with excellent horn handle. Nobody makes a better handle than Sher. Fit is perfect. The khukuri is a 10/10+. 15 inches and 19 ounces of perfection.

Karda and chakma small but very nicely done. Same old perfect scabbard and frog by village sarki.

Use or hang. It's a winner. $175 for a one of a kind "wanna do" by Sher.

Call or email.

I've got a Kumar Karda and a 12" AK by Sher. For what my two cents is worth, the man knows how to make a knife. The only thing keeping me from jumping on this one is that it's almost too pretty to use. This is one of those one-of-a-kind knives, destined to become an heirloom.

Hmmmm. what was it Rob was saying about the Saint Jimmy statue? Oh that's right, 12 inch khuks with fuzzy pink scabbards.:p

I've got two "Sher wanted to" khuks, and I heartily recommend them. One is a chiruwa YCS in special wood, and the other is an M43i (M43 curve, AK fuller, regular khuk handle in horn, steel fittings). I'd have this one too if not for other commitments and a new tire bought on Saturday :-/

Heeee FLMAO, Sarge! Is that with the chartreuse patent leather frog and rhinestone encrusted chape?

mPisi, you lucky barstard! That YCS was super sweet. Good catch.

Gorgeous blade, but 15" is too small for me, usually.

I've been a Sher fan since I got ahold of one of his M-43i-s. mPisi is right.

Its official I am the proud new owner! For once I beat you addicts at a daily Uncle Bill special. The victory is mine......Any advice on how to break the news to my new wife?

Gone to Pipey at 6:15 AM.

Up at 5AM today. Cold makes sleeping tough -- cough and runny nose wakes me (and Yangdu who blames my cold on smoking!!!) up at all hours.

Congrats Pipey! Gonna hang it on your belt beside your sporran and wear it with your kilt? Sort of a Himalayan Piper's Dirk.

Uncle, cut up some ginger root, boil it in a pot of water, add lemon slices and some honey to taste, strain and add a couple good jiggers of strong liquor, drink it hot a half hour before bedtime. There's probably better remedies out there, but this one never fails me.

Sarge My new khukuri just might look good with my highland kit!
I will probably put this one through its paces though. It will probably be on my belt kit (LBE) Maybe I should send Master Sisco my sheath for a proper sheath cover. Cheers! PipeyCain

Sher's Art work made its way to my mail box today! Wow!
It is nearly perfect. Some people argue that 15in is too small for theor needs-My reply is what is good for Gurkhas (15in Khukuris) is good for me. Thank you again Uncle Bill For the rest of you who missed this one, you really lost this time. This victor will now head off to enjoy the spoils.
