Heres some neat older slippies to enjoy ( i hope )

Thank you everyone for your kind comments, hey at the end of the day, they aren't high-end collector material, but far too nice to pass by as well :)

Jack - you are dead right with the material that is on your knife - oh by the way, that would have been a nice cut on the inside of your finger my friend! Ok its a Ettrick - cheers

S-K, Oh boy, they certainly do share a similarity don't they! thank you so much, and I have found that with the Sheffield's - also Solingen knives that different Cutler firms produced almost the same knife with different stampings - most probably all from the same place no doubt.

Hey Paul, the history is great isn't it-what a shame we cant get the history of each old knife - a bit like a car, now that would make a book in itself, I am sure each neat old knife would hold a movie within!

Charlie, if it was to be called my October collection, there would be a few more knives in there - I am stopping buying after I settle up a few deliveries ;), and concentrate on saving a wee bit to get a few things sorted!

Thank you everyone for your comments, I just wanted to show them, as they just slightly different, and kinda cool!

You can have it for spares if you want Duncan! The covers are in great shape, it's just the rest of the knife that is shot! :D (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Round-Yorkshire-With-A-Knife-Me-and-Mrs-Jones)

That's a surgery scar from a broken tendon, my knife scar is on the other hand! ;)

Great pile of knives, Duncan. I do like that Miller Bros. though...

Thanks for sharing all these beauties Duncan! It's a pleasure looking at your photos and seeing and reading the details. Great stuff!:thumbup:
