over the past year or so i have really grown to love the nessmuk style knife... :D

it all started with a passaround/raffle of an awesome scott gossman(razorback) nessmuk, over at ramanon.com.. i ended up wining the knife:D... that was really my first introduction to the nessmuk.... i was instantly hooked....
i think the nessmuk is a very practical camp/field knife..... it works great in the kitchen too... my fiddleback nessmuk is one of my most used knives these days.... i love it...

here is my collection thus far....

- gossman nessmuk..
- dale chudzinski nessmuk.. i just scored this one in a trade a few days ago...
- fiddleback nessmuk..
- muskratman nessmuk..
- ML knives nesmuk-ish patch/neck knife.. just scored this guy off of ebay..
- PWORK nessmuk.. made from a band saw blade...

I really like the "hump" and the curve to the belly on the Chudzinski one, and the longer handle:thumbup:

Very nice Mike. Great score on that Dale C knife. Would love to have one myself.

I still wonder if the knife that Nessmuk had was just a broken Green River style skinner that he got for a couple of pennies that he had re-ground.

Gotta love those Nessmuk's! Great knives mtnfolk mike. Although I have never used a Nessmuk I envision them to be a great all around camp knive. Can I ask the specs of the gossman nessie. Are the blades real thick? Thanks

I love the nesmuk design as well and figure that Nesmuk spent quite a bit of efort getting his hand axe designed and made he probably spents some time think out the knife design.

Sweet knives Mike. I'd like to get one of Fiddlebacks knives.

I'm working on it bro. This lull while the new shop is being setup is infuriating!! So far the electric is run, walls are insulated, the ceiling panels and lights are 1/2 way hung. As soon as thats done I'll move in the grinders and drills and finish ~9 of them off that are pretty far along. Man I miss making knives.:p

Hi
This is Pitdogs son Zach,

Just thinking that the middle knife with no handle would look good with paracord rapped around it. What do you think?:D

Hmmm? Paracord?? A bit non traditional;)

That one is cable damascus. I'm not sure Scrapiron Charlie the blacksmith that made that one has a handle on it yet or not. The rest are mine except second from the left belongs to Bladite.

I like the bulbous blade on that one. Show us when he's done with the handle.

(I thought sure you'd put one on it.)

That's exactly what I said to my son when he posted it !!!

Young minds think differently eh !!!!!:D
