... Here’s that toroidal one I was talking about, hot off the bench!…. (not for anyone in particular, just something I wanted to do). The blade is forged integral from W2, with a clay quench line. The scales are Ebony. It came in at just about 12 inches OAL. :)

Love that:thumbup:

Your skills are showing:eek:

Nice to make things; for the fun of it.

Thank you for the new desktop foto!

Did you hot cut the fullers or what?

Hey thanks guys!

Mike, I scraped and rasped the "fullers" in with some little hand tools I made,... just to give it some toroidal zip lines... I wasn't really thinking "blood gutters" or anything like that. :)

Dig it all the way around Tai.

The grind matched with the quench line is done very nicely....

So it's a full flat grind and that line i see is a differential hardening line and not a bevel?

very pretty

how about a flat-on photo?

Steven, I tried, but I couldn't get the light to work in a flat on shot. The shots are with natural lighting... I wish I had a better camera.

Absolute art, this is something that a person can't help to look or touch... Like candy bar :D

I particularly like the bolster/tang/handle transition. Got any better picts?

BTW, that knife is just sick.... How do you do keep doing that...

Your sense of flow is amazing Tai! I have been a fan for some time and it seems like there is no cure in sight with sweeping recurves like that.
