Just got the Schrade-Walden 41OT Maverick in this morning's mail.

Awesome example Jackie. Really unique coloring on that handle, in the cream tones. It almost looks like bone. Looks like the blade has some nice glazed finish. Really handsome knife.

It never ceases to amaze me Jackie how a knife remains in mint condition for approx 37 years <they were made 1971 to 1973 only> and noone in that time has the yearning to use it.The original owner would have had amazing will power then not to try it out because they were not generally bought as collectors then. Maybe they are given as gifts from relatives and put away in a drawer....lucky for all of us hey?......beautiful little bird knife example...well done again. Hoo Roo
