Here's the Big Announcement......

Sorry I am sooo late guys I will have pics up tommorow I have made a few sheaths for it & It works great as a neck knife.

Fantastic knife! I'll be ready to order when the time comes!!!

Damn Eric! This is a really sweet project. If the price point is similar to the other knives in the Rat line up you have got a serious winner on your hands! Even at a higher price point this is is a great deal.

Congratulations to the whole Swamp Rat crew!

Nick,

$68.95, without sheath. Nifty, huh?

Granted, they're rather smaller than the other Rats, but... perfect for concealment. :)

Hmmm.

That's what was missing.

The RT doesn't have a straight layer underneath the diamond wrap.

The Besh does.

I guess you aren't planning on adding one? The underwrap seems to flesh out the grip and prevents the tang from getting stuff on it...

Well, Camp Tramp gotten, Battlerat on the way should be here this week.
Now this. Just great. Let me burn all my money.
Ok, so it's for a good cause. ME!!

Being relatively new to the SW family I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. But I'll say it now...most of the knife styles to date (excluding the BD), are pretty generic looking (just in the looks department, performance is world class!). I was waiting and hoping for something with a little character and now you've done it! Just keep up the great work!

Ah yes ........ Beware the sleepers, the plain-janes, the invisible-right-in-front-of-your-eyes ones, the shadow within the shadow, the mundane, the ordinary-looking, the easily dismissed, the wolf in sheep's clothing, the blind spot in your vision, the unseen hand on the wheel, the imminent danger in assumed safety & the kindness of your friends, the surreptitious entry of your demise, and the Rat that cuddles down into your hand as it steadfastly & remorselessly hones its incisors for the dirty & brutal work ahead. Beware the bite of the unnoticed Rat!! ;) :D

It's later in the week -- is it for sale yet?

How about now? :D

This is driving me nuts.
I see no photo, what on earth are you all looking at?

I've looked at the threads on the new knife, but I can't find an attachment or link to a photo. What am I doing wrong?
