Of course, the best thing is being reunited with your loved ones. . . . and then of course being able to drink Carling Black Label again is probably second . . . .errrr. . . . then of course there's "home-cooking" . . . .hmmmmm. . . . . So, I guess that this might not be second. . . . but it has to rate somewhere in the top 100 !!!;)

This one-of-a-kind GFD was ordered by a soldier's wife as a "Welcome Home Present" . . . He's back, he's got it. . . he's a happy guy!

SnakeSkin handles, zero-edged, crown shaped skull crusher, and angry at having not been along for this last deployment!!!! This puppy is ready to roll right now!!!!

We're glad he's home, safe and sound,

Welcome back,

Jerry, Jennifer and the rest of the crew at Busse Combat

...Oh. And, Jerry, just so you know... I'd have counted the knife second too. There's always beer and food after a deployment:cool: But wives and knives? That's a winner!:D

Here's a pic of the top of this knife before it was finished . . . . it has an arrow pointing towards the tip. . . that way if you get too hammered you still know which end to point towards the enemy. ;)

Front toward enemy!?! Holy Claymores Batman!!!!:p :D

That is sweet Jerry. Hey, after the big ABA blow out, the wife has been grumbling about my living arrangements. Do you have any room under a work bench in the shop so I can put a sleeping bag in there somewhere?:D

SWEET!!!

And Welcome Home, hopefully he'll stop by and say "hi" as he has been active on the forums in the past :D:D

Well Eric... I don't know when he returned but... if he's anything like I was after a deployment and it's been less that two weeks... Let's just say he may have better things to do than to be hanging out here with us.:D

those grind lines are simply amazing. Another reason why I consider Jerry the best there is.

Cerberus:eek:

It is a sweeeeet blade. I flew the profile of the handle as well and boy oh boy does that puppy ever feel great!!!!

 Bravo Jerry you out did yourself on that one, That arrow is a great idea. Keep up the good work.

Great dang piece man! (excuse me, I need a moment...)

Wow! Better not let Feinstein, Schumer, or Kennedy see it or all knives will have to have that safety feature...

O.K., I'm better now...

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and say that this was one of the biggest surprises I've ever received. My wife is a self-proclaimed knife neophyte--and for her to have pulled this off was something I never expected. Thanks to Jerry and Eric, for being so good and helpful to her.
Saying thanks for the knife itself isn't enough. I don't deserve the amount of thought and work that went into this. All I can do is cherish it, and let you know that it will be at my side whenever I have serious business to do.

I've been a lurker here for a long time, but I've always been hesitant about posting--seeing as how I'd never owned (or held) a genuine Busse. While I don't have the wealth of knowledge of the rest of you, I somehow feel more a part of the club now. Best knives on the planet, and best people behind them.
Thanks again.

Oh, and Spearhead--you're right. But I have to come up for air occassionally. ;)
