Bro, trust me, being over there, and defending us, and our way of life, you deserve, not only the knife, but much, much, more. Thank you for your service to our great country!!!!!

"I've been a lurker here for a long time, but I've always been hesitant about posting--seeing as how I'd never owned (or held) a genuine Busse. While I don't have the wealth of knowledge of the rest of you, I somehow feel more a part of the club now. Best knives on the planet, and best people behind them.
Thanks again."

t1mpani, you must remember, now that you have your first Busse, which I know will not be your last, you've automatically aquired a new family!! In the Busse Family, there's a camaraderie you will find no where else!! :) Don't worry about your lack of knowledge. It doesn't stand in my way!! :D You've already written your first post, so it's all smooth sailing from now on!! :D
BTW Jerry, that knife looks as if it would be a perfect companion piece to my 10" Sub-Hilt Fighter. I can picture it riding piggy back in a nice desert sheath. When will it be available?? :)

T1, You're in the trough now!!! . . . and that ain't necessarily a "good thing"!!! ;) And, now that you're in. . . . there isn't really anyway of gettin' out!!!!!

Your wife must've made notes of every comment you ever made about what you wanted in a custom blade, because she gave us some pretty good details to go by.

Your wife and your knife are both one-of-a-kinds.

Congrats and welcome home!!!!

Jerry and Jennifer

I'm with Ang on this one. I'd like to thank you for taking care of our way of life and welcome home.

Oh yeah, Jerry that blade is awesome  .

Nice blade, and welcome home!

And you live in Aggieland to boot. My brother in law (ex corp) and sister live there as well. Whoop!

Again, welcome home!

Warren,
I'm glad you stopped by and "claimed" this one. Now everyone knows who to be jealous of ;):D:D

Congrats and once again Welcome Home.

See you in Atlanta in June ;):D

What a wonderful knife! That just might be the coolest one yet! I really like the crown skull crusher. Can you tell us what the blade inscription means or is it personal? As far as anything else goes, you earned the knife and the gratitude of every real American. You and your fighting brethren are what keep America..America. Thanks for your service and congrats on that knife. Sounds like you picked a pretty good lady as well. Good for you!

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. It's been a fun couple of days--in many ways! :)

Alpha--no problem. It means, "Through Unity, Strength." It's the old Texas A&M Corps motto. To me, it's always been a better message than "Army of One."
Teams get people home alive.

Anyway,
You know, it's weird--I've been with the Arrow Fighter a whole lot these past few days, but it seems lonely...:D

T1,

"It seems lonely"????? . . . . It may be that the Arrow Fighter just needs a good solid beating!!!! ;)

Of course beating the living tar out of another Busse blade in front of it will accomplish the same thing!!!!

Let the games begin! ;)

Jerry

t1.....Welcome home and Thanks for your sevice!Thats one heck of a fine looking knife......your wife knows how to treat her man!;)

Jerry....great looking blade.....seems to me a fine design for a fighting knife in your new line.....:D

t1mpani, Welcome home, welcome aboard. Thank you for your service to our Country. Use the knife in good health as my grandmother used to say.

Now Jerry, about this T1 Special Edition. There can be only one original so if you wanted to change a monor detail or two and make a few more of these I can assure you that I would be one of the first to pony up.

t1,

Thank you for your service to our country. The knife must have been a sight for sore eyes! The wife too! :D
