Here's the deal boys!!!!

We only plan on making these once in a great while. . . . So get 'em while they're hot!!!!. . . . We'll take orders on these for the next 10 days. . . then we'll make 'em, ship 'em, and you can strop on 'em!!!!

The leather is the highest quality vegetable tanned strop leather and has a coarse compound on the one side and a finer finishing compound on the other. I have never used a strop that compares with these and we expect a very high demand.

They are great for both flat and convex edges. . . . And they make great Christmas presents. . . birthday presents. . . . and fly swatters!!! :D ;)

If you hurry, you could be the first kid on your block to have one!!!

The price is $67.00 each + $9.95 S&H. . .

Email both Shaggi and myself with your contact and payment info at jerry@bussecombat.com and holli@bussecombat.com

Nuke on!

Jerry

Jerry, you better be careful. I think a lot of these country folk don't know what you mean by a "block" :D

what are the specs on this? length and width wise?

Edit: Seeing randucci's post... What compound would we need?

Thanks in advance

Jerry, do the compounds need to be re-applied after using it? If so, how often would you guess (i.e; how many knives sharpened)?

The compounds will eventually need to be reapplied. Do a google search, I'm sure you'll find what your looking for. I think that the true genius in this is the adjustable tension. My system is nice, (HandAmerican) but for a convex edge you simply place a cushion under the leather. Looks like Jerry's system is better, (and cheaper).

Very rarely. I haven't reapplied any to mine for about 5 years. The hand burnishing that we do to each strop works the compound pretty deep into the leather. Flitz or Simichrome metal polish works great for the fine side. Coarser compounds are available from many of the knife supply houses.

It looks nice. I look forward to getting mine.

I emailed my order to Shaggi and The Poet In Residence (JB). Should I be expecting any sort of confirmation?
