Yeah, what he said. I mean how hard could it be to sift through a few hundred emails, then the amount ordered and subtract until they are gone? It would probably take me 2 months:eek: :D Just check on mine.....was that out loud?:footinmou

I don't mean to be offensive or anything, but I have to ask. Why can't you get one on Sunday? just curious. Thanks

Alpha, If I understand the Mormon religion it pretty much is taboo to work, shop or do anything but relax on sunday. I gotta say that it's unusual enough that a Mormon has a computer and the internet. A friend "who is Mormon" was kicked out of his family's house when he brought a computer home.

If its any consolation Steven Roos.....I can't afford one either but I am ordering one anyway

I would have ordered one too, but then I would have had to live the next two weeks on about $20...:(

Oh well...I figure i wouldn't use it much anyway. I think my co-workers would object if I whipped my Tali-Whacker out at work anyway!

"Oh Thanks for the info. I was raised Baptist. we can do about anything."

Alpha: Us Southern Baptists aren't permitted to make love standing upright. Someone might think we're dancing.

Trust me steven, they would mind. I tried that once and had to register as a sex offender. Oh well, I just told them my name was Busse. Jerry Busse

Yeah I've heard that. It was southern baptist for me too, but no one ever seemed to have trouble with the dancing. Maybe we were just progressive rednecks? As far as the making love, I do it......nevermind, nobody deserves that mental picture:barf: :D

Raden,

As with most religions, Sunday is considered to be the Sabbath. In the Mormon religion, the dedicated members, attempt to AVOID doing anything that would disrupt that. This includes doing something that would cause someone else not being able to celebrate/respect the Sabbath, i.e. shopping, going to the movies (unnecessarily causing someone else to work, regardless if they are already doing so.)

I must say, that is the first time I have heard that! I think you are confusing Mormons with the Amish. There is nothing in the Mormon Church that forbids having computers, the internet, or Busse knives.
;)

Well, dont know how this thread ended up on this topic, but Ronin is right. There is nothing in the Mormon faith prohibiting the ownership or use of computers. It is just that you have to be careful how you use it, just like anything else.

I am also an RM, Ronin and Sniper.

You know, this could be the furthest amount of "thread drift" ever! Let get it back on track.......You want's a tali whacker of their own? I'm talking a full foot now!

I was online last night for at least two hours. Told the offer would be Sunday night from 9:00pm-10:00pm. I get online at about 8:30 to find out the offer started at 7:30pm and ended at 7:49pm. This SUCKS!!!!
