Just finished this one up a few hours ago, then wrapped it up and drove it over to my hunt'n buddy's house. He was ecstatic!
Forged from 5160 1/2" round stock.
All work was done with hand tools. The pin hole was drilled with an antique hand drill. I've been on a real hand tool kick lately, even though I have a fairly good collection of shop equipment. However, I cheated and used my buffer to polish the brass guard.
The picture isn't very good and shows a few finger prints, but the blade is hand rubbed to 1000 grit and the brass has a high polish.
I sewed a basic drop in sheath, which is not in the photo.
