Hello, I Am New To This Forum. I Have A Schrade Heritage New York Marked 8341, And I Wanted To Know About The Handles And The Date
Of Manufacture? Can Anyone Help? I Was Told It Was Wood But It
Looks Like Smooth Bone In Person!
Thanks For The Info. I Was Looking Around On The Website You Gave
Me And Found The Cut Sheet For This Model. It Says The Handles Were Made In Red, Green, & Brown. Have You Ever Heard Of One With
Two Different Colors On One Knife?

Welcome to the site. Always good to meet a knew, knise person.
The site I sent you to is mine. Please look around and enjoy.
As for the Heretage's
If the different colors were on the same knife it would have been a salesmans sample. The originals were done in either green or red/brown bone. Absolutley beautify series. The later versions were in a redish delrin. I heard a story that they were brought back into production and specifily sold for the western USA but if so quite a few went east. All stories must be taken with a grain of salt.
