Herman knife obsession

I’m a newbie. Thanks for your patience. I LOVE this place. Love posting my daily carry, watching the Exchange, you know! I’m happy with a modest collection of EDC’s yet still have developed an obsession with a few collectibles. My current obsession are Polish knives and especially Herman full dress versions. Am I wrong?

They are obviously well crafted but anything with all of that going on tends to remind me of pakistani made mall knives.

Maybe it's the damascus or just my 'less is more' sense of taste. Not that any of that matters as long as it makes YOU happy :)

If I had $2k to spend on pocket knives I would buy a few Laconico MBK XLC's and abuse one like a cheap prozzie while petting and polishing the others at night.

Here is my "gas station" knife. Poland, Pakistan, what's the difference?

I'm glad you found something you really like. Me, though I find the timascus cool looking, I don't like metal handles.

It’s a very different grip feel than my “work knifes”. I really like G10, CF, Micarta and wood grips too! My machine shop background attracted me to this knife. It makes me appreciate the programming and execution of the CNC machined Timascus scales. The intricate waves are machined seamlessly and match up with the Mammoth tusk inlay perfectly. The way the anodize colors complement and contrast are world class to me. It’s more a knife to just look at and fondle for me than my other carry choices.
