The gloves are just inexpensive disposables😉 PS nothing got in the way of me choosing to own it. I won’t wear gloves for it but I won’t pick it for work detail. Think of it like you own a few vehicles. One is a McLaren and one is an F-150. I won’t be towing my boat with the McLaren! 😉👍
I’ll do my strap cutting with a PM2 and just play with this one.

The Manix 2 in S110V that's in my back pocket today is for heavier dirty work, and the Sebenza 31 in my front pocket today is for cutting my apples...

Wearing gloves to handle a knife is bizarre to me. I know a fair number of people with really expensive watches (well over $50k range) and they all wear them normally. No special handling.

I think he only wore rubber gloves in the videos because (1) harder to drop the knife with a better grip, and (2) he isn't a hand model and may have a lot of calluses from building knives?
 
I have many very tiny scars about an inch long on my hands 😉⚔️
