herman knives

Actually, I have found Tim to be one of the nicest folks I have had the pleasure to meet. It is true that he has an absolute zero tolerance for B.S. and he will call people on B.S. in a heartbeat. He also has a sense of humor that is totally misunderstood by many.

Maybe you could say that it is a sense of humor that doesn't type well :D

Sure, sure, come to chat so we can boot you :P
Nah, you wouldn't do that to me...but I spend/waste enough time on the net as it is...well maybe :D

Wally, you're not going to get booted unless you pissoff pff.
Com'on in and chew the fat for a bit.

I got really burn't by this Tim Herman guy. His knives are excellent and well made, but his personality does not come close to the quality of work. He reminds me of some surgeons. The surgeon may do great work but he has absolutely no bedside manners. With that said, keep up the good work Timmy, but maybe you should put your personality on the bench too and work on that for awhile.

I know Tim´s work from internet posts and magazine articles, but I never visited his website. I was really ATONISHED to see his basic sliver model was sold for US$ 650.00 which is a GREAT deal I would say. I wonder how long is his waiting list...

I'm sorry, but I am lost as to hoe A.T. got into this thread. In your original post were you saying that Tim's knives look like those of A.T. Barr?
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
I posted to the wrong thread!!!!!
I was just following my own old posts rather than actually looking at the title!
I guess I get the short bus award!
