Hi guys, sorry to harp on a subject and I hope I'm not poking a sore, but are there any updates/news about the bushcraft knife? I don't normally frequent the Spyderco forum and haven't been keeping up very well.

Thanks for any info gents! (and ladies!)

I am wondering also. I asked at the factory forum about a month ago and got nothing:confused: Was hoping these would hit the streets in time for
spring 09

Is this a taboo subject or something
Or maybe this is one time I'm not in the minority here and it's just a model that's right up near the top of most folks "who cares" list?

I imagine that sort of demonstrates that they were reaching for a slightly separate demographic with this blade.

I am looking forward to the wood handled O1 Bushy and even sold my skookum because I plan on getting a spydie. I love Spyderco but I am really tired of the futuristic looking blades and would love to see something with carbon steel a wood handle and leather sheath but with Spyderco edge geometry and quality.
