Hesitating between two knifes...

It sounds like you have already decided, but IMO it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a worker and a slicer, PM 2. If you want something more pocketable with more style and pizzazz, then 0450. Though drastically different, both are great designs with fantastic actions.

The 0450 was my first foray out of the sub $100 (retail/us) market, and started an obsession that's cost me...well...a LOT....of money over the last year (with no end in sight)!

Both knives have strengths and weakness. I love the burple, and the PM 2 is my main user--for a great variety of things.

My 0450 is closer to "pocket jewelry," and brings me great pride of ownership due to materials, fit & finish, etc.

For me, the PM 2 carries terribly in the front pocket, but the flat slabs and light weight-for-size make it awesome for cargo pocket carry. The pic sums up why.

I don't think there is a "wrong" choice (unless that choice is to squeeze a PM 2 into the front pocket of your Levi's with keys and a phone--ha ha). For me personally, the PM 2 is more practical and more useful...a better tool, and a very good one. But I think I "like" the 0450 more. Eventually you'll have both--you know you deserve it!

My choice honestly rests upon black friday deals ah ah. Ive been looking at a water cooler for my pc for a while now. But comming back on topic. It is a bit of a difficult choice as im Not looking for something in particular. Was just looking for a more expensive high quality folder to get myself for christmas

You could try tightening the screws on the stop pin ;)

Nope done tried. It's just worn out. It was my daily for a long time. Besides that won't help the broken endura I have. It was dropped and the blade tang where the lock bar goes sheared clean off. The knives are light duty knives. They are great for opening mail and the occasional box.

Pm2 imho carries much smaller than it looks if you carry it tip up. The largest part where the thumb hole protrudes nestles back into my pocket making no much wider than any other knife if that makes any sense. Action is superb and lock is very easy to use. And if you could settle for a non blurple version you could pick one up for under and $100 on the exchange.

heh im not even sure anymore, ive jsut spotted a kizer 401c1 for the same price as the the pm2 s110v (i really dont mind the blurple handles tbh) that knife is seriously beautifull
this post kinda derailed the original subject but is this worth the 210$ compared to the s110v pm2's 210$?

The PM2 takes up about twice the pocket space of the 450, and for that alone I'd recommend the 450.

The PM2 is a pocket hog with terrible blade to handle ratio with its monster edge eating choil. The ZT is nearly 1" shorter OAL with more cutting edge. MUCH more pocket friendly also.
ZT0450 all the way on this match up!

Since this thread has drifted far afield from the original options, how about considering the Stedemon ZKC B-01 with gray brushed titanium handles and a 3.5" S35VN blade? It's slim, streamlined and flips better than any Kizer I've owned or personally inspected. Best of all, you also get better overall workmanship than the typical Kizer and it currently retails for less than $200 USD. It doubles as a very classy gentlemen's folding knife with real tactical utility.

Of the two, I'd vote PM2. I'm not a fan of metal handled knives and since I have a large hand, the extra length of the PM2 doesn't bother me. I also love FFG blades.

I'd rather have a ZT 562 or 550 then the 450.

Ive been looking at blades around 200$ canadian sorry for the confusion. Just looking at the black friday sales on warriorsandwonders and wondering if anything is as food as the pm2 s110v

My answer is no and I've tried the ZT's and Benchmades.

Well thanks everyone for the help :) i have ordered the pm2 s110v :D

I seriously doubt you will be disappointed. You should update the thread when it arrives in few days. A drop of oil on the pivot will help speed up the break in. But these knives brake in extremely fast.
