Hest screw size

I want to replace the screws on my Hest , but I am having trouble finding the right size. Does anyone know the machine screw designation for the Brass flat-head screws (# ?) I do not own a machine screw gauge. Thanks for any help guys

Let me get SHon to post here. I think it is an 8-32 x 1/4" screw but I don't have my screw guage here at the moment. mike

8-32 is the standard thread for most knife handle screws of this type which is also the same thread with Tek Loks and Molle attachments. You can get them in various lengths from 1/4 to 1 1/2" and of course in various metals including SS and heads. For some reason these seem much more expensive that the more standard screws.

Right on.Thanks guys. I'll start searching for them. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
I don't store stuff in the handle in the Hest , and I think stainless will look better :thumbup:

Mike is correct. 8-32 X 1/4 it is.
