HEST (tiger) + Glock 19 gen4

Nics pic OP,like thew scale work
I am the odd man out, I like my XD9 & XD9SC :D fits my hand better than Glocks and has a more natural feel to it vs the G-guns . Everyones different ,nothing wrong with Glocks ,just does not feel right in hand to me, as does the USP9's the mag release is a pain for me as well, now the P30 got it right :)

LOL , Ken rent you an XD and give it an honest try.... you don't have to run out and buy one...but the XD9 is a great pistol....& some folks claim the XDm is better but I'm not a fan of lego hand grips :D

Had an XD 40 Bi-tone shortly after they started with Springfield. It was a great gun, never had a single issue, and they do feel good in the hand. My gen 4 17, feels just as good to me though.

There is nothing wrong with the XD either. I also like like the Smith & Wesson M&P. Alot of it comes down to what fits the hand better and allows you to put fast and accurate rounds on target.

that HEST looks sweet. i also like glocks but they just dont fit my hand so i bought a S&W M&P .40 love it it fits my hand like a glove and is real easy to shoot for me. didnt like the natural aim point for glocks. but i do think glock is a great pistol.

Yesterday I was out shooting, and placed one target about 100 yards away on top of a small pile of impact rock (6-8 inch and smaller limestone, with fines). For some stupid ass reason, on the first run down to the target to throw on new Shoot-n-Cs, I just tossed my G17 in the front pocket of my hoodie.

When I got to the target and started sticking new ones on, the damn thing fell out of my pocket, landed on the extractor and bounced halfway down the pile.

Picked it up, gave it a quick visual for obvious damage, shot a mag through it as a function check and wiped off the dust.

No harm done.

Had that been one of my non-Glocks, I would have been much more pissed.

You can't make a statement like that without an explanation as to why you made it.

I can tell you that Glocks are known for their reliability, safety features, lightweight, and all around ruggedness. I have 4 Glocks in my arsenal and only one had a failure to feed. One. And that was 10 years ago. Been fine ever since I ran out of the 115 gr. cheap 9mm ammo. ;)

By this time next month I will have a G26 Gen 4 in my possession. :)

I have carried a Glock every day for a few years now. I have an old 27 that has never had a jam of any type. I have a Glock 22 Gen 4 that I carry every day on duty. I have had numerous malfunctions until recently. I took about 1000 rounds to get the gun broken in and reliable. I had a casing get flipped around backwards and get lodged in the feeding chamber primer first. The slide locked back and I was looking down into an empty casing... I'm a glock fan but I think the Gen 3's have the edge in reliability.....

Love the scales on that HEST! I need to get one of those :)

I'm a Glock fan as well
