HEST v F1

I hear you. With the Canadian dollar being more or less on par with the US lately I've been taking advantage and buying a lot more gear and stuff from the US also. Gotta "strike while the iron's hot" as they say.
Just bought a Seiko Baby Monster last month and am looking to get a Black Monster soon.
 
Seems to me every time i sell a nice knife or whatever that i enjoy, either because i am using a nicer one, or don't use it at all anymore, or towards a different one, I always kinda regret it later, and wish that i had just saved. I figure the f1 will always be available, while the hest will not.

I've been buying a new knife every week now for the last month or two. I think it's some sort of unhealthy buying frenzy! :eek:

Where it will end? No one knows. In the meantime I'm keep KSF afloat singlehandedly I think.
 
Hest or F1?....... F1 all day long. My production version WAS my favorite fixed blade. Hopefully this will take it's place when I'm done. I think I'm gonna go with Amboyna Burl for this one.

I had an F1 & S1 and gave both away..I dont care for them...for my own personal reasons,alot of folks like'em ,I just was not one of them....
 
I'm a HUGE Fallkniven fan, but I would not trade my HEST for an F1. Even after she bit me. Which reminds me.... I probably should clean my blood off the scales. :o
 
I favor the Fallkniven F1 it is my goto tool. I passed my HEST on to a new user.
