hex caps

were they any hex cap fix blade knives made in the USA. friend has one, but it don't seem right..but it could be. don't know alot about the fix blades.

Yes there were knives produced in 1989 & 1990 with hex caps this was while we used up stock we had brought over from S.A.

I got a new Aviator last year or the year before from CRK and I asked really nice if they had any HEX caps left and they had one but it had no hole drilled in it for the cord but I paid extra for the cap but now I have one for that knife. all the old S.A. knives I have have HEX caps.
