Recently bought 2 benchmade griptilian folders. These are the best quality knives I have owned personally. Looking forward to learning more! This seems like a good place to start :)
 
Welcome! This is a good place to learn a lot of things. I started with a Spyderco tenaciously I think benchmade mini grip was my next knife. But now some of my knives are $400 and up. Get ready to spend some money!
 
The Griptillian is a great little carry knife. I carry mine most everyday I am off work. It will serve you well.
 
Welcome to BF! Great first knife! I have owned knives ranging from $20-$500 and I now predominantly carry a benchmade mini grip/mini Ritter grip in one configuration or another with custom scales.. in my opinion, they are the best knife, especially with some limited edition with upgraded steel.. my only complaint would be the "plastic" scales.. change those out to g10, c.f., micarta, TITANIUM! And you have a knife that rivals most if not all production knives even the "all mighty sebenza"!!

So don't feel the need to buy knives that cost $350+ ... it's all about what feels good for you, in your hand..

Enjoy the hobby, try different knives, absorb all the great info most have to offer.. you will meet some great people here..

Welcome. Enjoy the Grips. They are great knives. Those or Delicas are a great place to start.

Excellent "baseline" experience to have.
