I think the Irish would take exception to that. The Black and Tans were the Royal Irish Constabulary Reserve Force, which was a force paramilitary thugs raised by the British in Britain and sent to Ireland to keep the Irish in their place. "Black and Tan" remains a pejorative term for Brits in Ireland. Definitely not Irish.

(The drink that goes by the name "black and tan" here--a mixture of pale ale and a dark beer like porter or stout--is not a common drink in Ireland, and among those who drink it there, it's generally called "half-and-half.")
 
Hey, John, I was referring to the drink, it seems all the Irish pubs around here serve it. It is not surprising that "Irish" in America do things differently than in the old country; I have read that the St. Patrick's Day parade thing, and it's attendant excuse for a party, are an American invention.

I STILL want a black and tan warden!

I don’t know about this St Patty’s day theme. Who wants to clean up green knife puke?
 
Its quite easy Wash you just follow all this hype here for another 5 or 6 days then you will get some sort of hint to the actual time that the knive will apear. They tend to come up on the quater hour, they will be available for 3.25 sec and then they are all gone. Then you wait another 2 months and a few more come up.
 
Billy, the simplest things become complicated when women are involved.

Some Hogs have been known to lend a helping hand. All I can say is that it's for a good cause.

You didn't read Skunk's first post, it states when the knives will be at the Busse Company Store.:D He's fishing but the river is high so he might not make it back but don't worry guys, I'll put them on the website as scheduled. I must say, they are pretty. I need to take some pictures after I get them all unpacked.:cool:
