I am not a bourbon expert ...its actually good for my taste buds, but Ive tried a lot of the good ones and its good with a bold flavor. Not for weak of heart neat. Best on ice but still very good room temp . w/water.

I use to drink scotch. The economy and my desire to buy American made switched me to bourbon even though Im Scotch/Irish

Islay is knowN for its peat and are similar to Gasoline...not meant as an insult. On the contrary, only men like it:thumbup:

I knew that was coming I did the in the hand sip and sniff yesterday with some over for Mothers Day and it was cool. Folks were like wow

THe BT is also a great bourbon especially at the price. I may have to go back to it....

THe Fighting Cock has its place @ 103 proof. I love to set it at the counter and hear the young gal behind the counter call it by name

The ORVW 10 Year bourbons, both varieties (90 and 107 Proof), are also excellent, and priced at $30 or so per bottle.

Anyway, for Bourbon - try Elmer T Lee Single Barrel (less than $30 / 750) and excellent.

OldGrandDad 114 is the second best whiskey from the Beam folks, IMO, second only to Bookers, and it's a bargain too at less than $30 / 750.

The ORVW 10 Year bourbons, both varieties (90 and 107 Proof), are also excellent, and priced at $30 or so per bottle.
