I am still looking for that "ONE" that will trade for INFI!

No matter how liquored up I get.............. a man purse still isn't for me.

I knew that was coming:D:D I did the in the hand sip and sniff yesterday with some over for Mothers Day and it was cool. Folks were like wow:eek:

THe BT is also a great bourbon especially at the price. I may have to go back to it:cool:....

THe Fighting Cock has its place @ 103 proof. I love to set it at the counter and hear the young gal behind the counter call it by name;):D

LOL. "Madam, could you tell me how you pronounce this" - "uh, fighting cock" - "no, could you say it slow and give me a wink when you're done speaking"!
No matter how liquored up I get.............. a man purse still isn't for me.

Hell, men have been carrying man purses forever. Cave men had them. Romans had them. Soldiers have them. Good enough for me. I hate walking bow-legged when my pockets fill up anyway. :D

T, You want to trade booze for your Infi. Sounds like a deal to me. How many bottles of wild turkey do i need to come up with for a nice rope handled old school Sj? :D:D

THats cause you have to come to more shows to understand:thumbup::cool:

Let me tell you though....Its a long way from the Fountain to the Bar in the pit, and a bourbon over there might be $15 each+ for the well brand:barf:

See my man purse holds atleast two good bottles, 8 good cigars, cutter, lighter ,4 glasses so I can share, a little ice, my eye glasses so I can see, and my phone to call home:)

I look forward to taking it out with wife shopping one day....Imagine , sitting down by a couple the old codgers sitting on the bench in the mall like whew...long day! Open up my bag and pull out a bottle and pour a drink:eek::D

Ah!:) You want one?:D

Good Morning Trevor,
Have you tried a rye whiskey appropriately called "Ri" yet? I know that the ABC in Burke carries it - I think it beats my usual favorite, Sazerac. Cheers!
Fellow Northern Virginian Bourbon Drinker,
"Bloody Bill"

I notice no one's mention "Virginia Gentleman" bourbon.

LMAO!

I may have to build a fence to keep me out!:D

IIRC that Rye is from the Beam folks, and is a 4yo old one in a fancy package marketed to the fancy vodka/cocktail crowd and priced at a solid 2-3X its actual value. it tastes pretty ok, but the general consensus is that its quite overpriced.

regular/baby Sazerac is 6yo, priced appropriately at ~$28, and tastes great IMO. frankly, I think it tastes better than its 18yo big brother, which I like too. I'm a big Rye fan.

my faves, in order of preference:

Van Winkle 13yo
Thomas Handy Barrel Strength
Baby Sazerac
Wild Turkey Rye 101
Sazerac 18yo

I'm never without my top 3.

;)
