Hey Everybody...

Have been gone too long but I am back and will be here regularly again....

I REALLY feel I should apologise for my absence....After Susan(the poor woman who shares my life) and I got back from a month on the road out west I just kept putting off my return and then I went to Argentina (a really GOOD time murdering birds)...... As soon as I got off the plane we got involved in re-doing some of the roads on our place and building others which tends to tucker out old guys like me...I enjoy running the chain saw and tractor ( My friend Gilbert was running the dozer as he is really competent and I am REALLY not)...... I really did not have anything NEW to share with you guys....

I now have some good news about the return of the MAGNUM CAMP......Tooge is sending production samples this week to me and to Brother Fisk.....When Jerry and I sign off on the samples there will be KNIVES...SOON.....

I am going to cruise around tonite to get an idea of whats been going on and will be posting a good bit tomorrow.....IT IS GOOD TO BE BACK !!!

ALL BEST

It's good to see you back, Sir: we've missed you around here.

It's good to hear about the new Magnum Camp, too. Hopefully, there will be more goodies soon, too.

Good to have you back, Mr. Becker. By the way, thanks for hooking up with Kabar. I love my 77 & 11, and since I got them right from tooge, I learned the micarta scales were made right here in my home town. Keep up the good work.

Welcome back Mr. Becker.
Wow! What great news! I love the Magnum Camp, and lately I haven't used mine since I really thought they'll never be made again. But soon, I'll be able to buy one from KABAR and thrash on it real good! :D

Dithmarscher,

Probably the only reason the 2, 7, 9, and necker are the most popular right now is because they're the only ones being made right now through KABAR. Theres a LOT of other designs that were made under Camillus that were very popular as well back a few years ago and I'm sure they will be if and when they get re introduced through KABAR.

And I'll pretty much garuntee you that any (bigger) Becker bade by KABAR will always be in 1095CroVan. It's KABAR's main production steel. And they know dang well how to make it! :)

Hooray the man is back. Promise never to leave us again Ethan! :D

Hey clearing land with a big tractor and some good saws is almost as fun as playing with knives. I understand.

Any word on the Machax? I sure hope this is in the works, and I am sure you are all for it as I have read that it is you favorite tool, and being your first you likely put a huge amount of thought into it. Give me a special Christmas present and tell me you plan to realease the Machax?

Welcome back.

A R E Y O U S E R I O U S??? That is OUTSTANDING!! I was just saying in a post the other day that of all the Becker knives I wish were brought back, it was that one. Can't wait to get one.

It is great to see you here again, but it is important to take time for yourself, too.
Welcome back Mr. Becker.

Well, Tooj said there would be a couple "surprises" at the SHOT show in jan. I'm dreaming that it might be the Machax.
