• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Hey, Folks - Been Offline a Bit

Thanks, Kyp...you're right, I shoulda kept him, and once he got rid of the mice, have him for dinner. :D

Nice drums, Brian! I always wanted to play drums when I was younger but, my parents forced me into the gee-tar and a couple of horns. I REALLY miss playing in the big city bands.

Big snake! We don't have snakes at our altitude here in my area (4500 ft.). Strange, but I haven't seen a snake on the ranch in the 8-years we have been here. Not complaining, mind you. :)

Dannyboy, thanks! Drums are primal and tribal. People ask me why I am smiling all the time...I tell them I live a very cathartic life: I'm either beating the sh** out if the drums or beating the sh** out of my friends at the dojo... :D

Ask Brett/Bears Breath...he knows what I mean -- we train HARD!

Glad you're back Brian. Looking forward to seeing your posts again. Dang that's a SNAKE. Haven't seen anything around here lately except little 2 ft garter snakes. Trying not to get sloppy though, because I know those 5 ft + diamondbacks are still out there. :(

Bill, I approached slowly in case in was a water moccasin, but it wasn't...it didn't come after me, and it didn't care that i was there. It just meandered along without concern...

I love snakes, stopped to check out a small (maybe a foot long) striped garter snake on the trail Friday, I'd half stepped over him before I noticed the little guy. Wish I'd had my camera with me.

Welcome back, I thougt you went and retired on us :)

Don't worry TTDobbs held down the fort pretty well.
