Hey guys check out the knife I made!

I think Mark is jealous. He refers to you as the "finished student."

Watchyerback.

Kis, as always, seeing the less obvious. And cracking me up everytime.

The price?? I'm not allowed to discuss the price, but it involved a sharp quill and some blood.

Edited to say that Mark is NOT taking orders. My mistake. I thought I heard him say he was, but I was wrong. Thanks for looking.

I think even Mark was surpised with the hamon, but the knife that he is working on now is gorgeous and the hamon is very unique.

I'm actually thinking of making a 'hawk next, or a seax. I haven't decided.

I think that the influence is readily apparent. I had an idea to start with and kept saying to myself as I stood at the grinder, if I did this it would make it catch in the hand, the swell here isn't right, this point is too high....

In the end I think I unconsciously took off all the parts of a khuk handle that I don't like and added just a little. Either way it has to be felt to be belived. I really like the paduk as a wood to work with. It cuts with a grinder easily, but don't try to use a knife because the grain will split a huge chunk off. It's a strange balence of care and firmness needed to shape it, and when its done its tough and beautiful.

Thanks for all of the compliments.

I do see a khuk grip hiding in there.
