Hey guys. Hit me with some facts. im still a noob.

I handled a mini-CQC-7 and thought it was a tight, solid knife with no blade play. I would have bought it but the blade was coated black.

S30V is not known for chipping and is a good all round SS.

I keep back and forthing myself on the 150 shipped cqc7b no wave stonewashed finish.

I'm still knew to the whole knife work myself but a few years a go I bought what I thought at the time was a higher quality knife. The sog trident tanto blade. I loved it. It was my EDC for several years. When I got it it had no blade play that I remember and I just replaced it a few months ago and it had I what I would call minor blade play. But I used and abused that knife. I still think it is a great knife. Since then I have replaced it with a zero tolerance 0301 and 0350. Both are amazing. They definantly feel beefier than the sog. But I have no complaints about my sog. Not sure if this helps out the op at all.

That will probably be my next knife since the mini is not much smaller than the regular and the regular has non-wave. You have good taste.
