i think i am done here..... the situation this morning has left a very very bad taste in my mouth, and quite frankly MOD or not i will not be talked down to like a three year old, the only problem i see from not being here anymore is the busse site doesnt have a for sale thread, so i will no longer be able to buy knives from private parties, however that is a price i can pay. i am just not in the place in life to be talked down to by a person that has no real reason to feel like he can.


i will miss the stuff that goes on in this forum..... cheers folks

I understand your frustration, but please reconsider making any rash decisions that could cause you problems later. If you have the charges reversed you will certainly be banned (which I agree with). Take a little time away from the computer, allow Spark to look into it and you can make a more rational decision at a later time.

At least take the weekend before you make a final decision.

If you leave you will be missed.

Go easy VTW. Maybe you should give it a day. Won't cost you anything to just let it settle over the weekend.

Go out and beat on some INFI...I always feel better after that.

If you must go though....I'll see ya on the home board.

eric, spark has looked thru it, he reversed rat30's and did not do so to me, and then the mods in question further added insults.... not into it.....


thanks though eric....

as for the credit card charges...... if i can get banned for posing a position then ..... i fail to see how bladeforums is a forum..... sassing a mod.... come on....
 
Agreed. VTWs has brought a lot of interesting comments, products and ideas to these boards and would be missed.

I got a ding a while back from the same person as you - and I did not care at all for how it was handled either. But I let it go as I still like my Busses and needed a place to buy and trade them. I did cut down my activity for a bit and it did seem to help.

Give it the weekend and then see how you feel. :thumbup:

I am with everyone else, give it a day or two and relax. You might just find you want to be here after all. If not, your choice.
 
I feel for you VTW. In my opinion, a paying member deserves a measure of respect and leeway that I don't see being shown.

I didn't say I agree or disagree with the infraction, Cougar said he was looking into it and I would suggest you drop Spark an email ask that he re-examine it and then decide.

I said if you reversed the CC charges that you would be banned, and I would agree with that decision. That charge was authorized by you and I do not think it is right to try and use that as a bargaining chip in this case. The CC rules of dispute are for failure to provide the service that was paid for, as I see it that is not the case here.

You need to step away a bit. All this happened in the space of like 4 hours. If the mods are conferring, it will take a few hours via email or PM, and you're not banned either (you still have 8 or 9 points left :D)
 
VTW: Go strip a blade and beat the heck out of it. There are several people/places on this forum that I avoid. Just hang here with us and forget the rest. I am sure, due to the error of the last infraction, that certain mods will be a bit more careful before issuing them as they will be called on it if the pattern continues.

As far as the CC charges go... I feel that if a member is unfairly being harassed and treated differently from other members for no logical reason then said member has every right to dispute the CC charges as they did not recieve what they paid for. However, I am not sure this is what has happened in your case as I do not know all the details, but that is my stance. If someone pays they should get what everyone else paid for. Period.

Anyway, just let it roll off and continue to be a force on the Busse forum here. ;)
 
It was a HOT 2 hours for me, but I worked through it, with help from VTW and Bastid.

I understand VTW's position, and hope he can be here in the future... I really do.

VTW; I don't do much posting here but I read this forum regularly. I hope you will step back and give this some thought as others have wisely advised as I would miss your input into this forum.

My rule is everyone get's two chances....not three (unless she's good looking, or collects INFI)
And I'm sure to let everyone know how they used their first chance.
