vtw-no mater what time will pass.i would give it a couple of days and wait for another responce.then make up your mind .thats my 2 cents

Eric sounds like the voice of reason to me.

VTW -- if you leave you will DEFINITELY be missed. Yours is a passionate and engaging voice. There are many here who will miss you if you choose to go.:(

I have seen this response before -- it is not unusual among highly creative, gifted people. It may be an unavoidable consequence of their gifts, a necessary accompaniment to their intensity.

Just know that a disagreement with one person does not automatically mean you are diminished in everyone's eyes. Most negative events are far less significant than they may seem to you.

Perhaps a cooling-off period?

Listen folks I have been following this from the start but have not posted, yet.

That being said, I just got off the phone with my uncle, he is having problems. Him and his wife are having marital "issues" and right now life is not real good for him.

One of my best friends just lost her mother who suffered from dementia and incontenance for the last five years of her life.

Some crazy fu@k just killed 32 people at VT

"He called me a name"...."he didn't like the way I posted." Gentlemen, with all the bad crap going on these days is this really worth causing the grief and hurt feelings I am seeing. In each parties point of view may be valid one more so than the other. In the big scheme of things is it that friggin important.

I've had the same stuff (I think) happen to me here with a mod. Some of them are very childish, or prudish nuns, I can't decide which, but in either case they were abused in some way in the past.

That being said, come over to arfcom. Good gun talk, some knife talk, all around a good place!

But getting to your infraction. I think everyone agrees that there was no cause for your infraction, and that includes Spark and Code3. In fact in the middle of your argument thread, Code3 did apologize to you, but you did not end it there, you were already beyond boiling point and continued on your tirade. Once Code3 sincerely apologized to you, you could have called it over and said let's have a drink at blade if you go. But you did not, and you continued on your attack, to the point where you backed Code3 into a corner and he had no choice but to reply accordingly. Anyway, I think that the entire situation got totally out of control for nothing, and all that is required is to CHILL. :thumbup:

so let's Chill. Chriss, go relax and take the weekend off from here. Come back. Surely this is a small part of your life and not worth getting worked up over.

Pal, you got what you got (a simple friendly warning, not an infraction) for profanity (no matter "that it is heard daily in almost every aspect of life") in this forum, which

1) will not be tolerated,
2) belongs in Whine&Cheese or the Cove, per Bladeforum standards, and
3) was said as an insult to another member.

Your choice, play by the rules, or not. Both have very different consequences...

You're right! I probably took it wrong, but a simple "hey bud, that's against the rules," would have worked better in my opinion, but sometimes I'm a sensitive B*#tch:D !

But you must admit, your response was that of a lunch lady!

In any case, all is forgiven, and I will not cuss in the future, and I will abide by the rules of this forum, 'cause I know you'll be there in a millisecond if I don't!:D
