Wow, it's been a while.

Not sure who here will recognize my name or not, but I see some familiar faces around.

I stopped visiting this site a few months ago because my hobbies shift like a womans mood swings. Once I pick up on something new I am full steam ahead with that one topic. I shifted from hiking/bushcraft into a few other things. Simply, I have WAY too many hobbies!

Second reason was because I was spending so much damn money on gear! I have a lot of stuff that hasn't even been used.

Third, I'd rather be spending my time outdoors than posting on a message board! This place is/was addicting!

Anyway, I'm still out and about and still active. Looking forward to the nice weather coming on. Still using my JK knives.

How is everyone?

Yeah, its terrible once you actually get a life eh?:p

This is my scond post in a month!:D

You guys talk too much! :D

We get nice weather, we get gray skies. Still nice weather but who wants to lie out in the sun when the sun is behind clouds?

I think most of us can relate to that one. My buddy and I went camping a couple weeks ago and we had a laundry list of stuff to try out.:o

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'm fine. :D. Glad to see you're still 'up and running'.

However, I'm very curious. What did you shift into from hiking/bushcraft? I have been tempted by the Siren's call, myself, de temps en temps.

(Yes, I know, I get a bit flowery when I'm in the vodka )

Hey Tom, I noticed in the JK forum that you are getting back in to climbing. Are you spending any time at the "local" crags at Grand Ledge? That was my home base for a couple of decades, but not for the last few years. Just wondering what the climbing scene was like these days.

Jeff

Yup, climbing is one of them.

I'm also serious into competitive shooting and training others. Season is just kicking off!

Grand Ledge is still pretty good. 95% of climbers are smart about their gear and friendly, but there are some morons here and there. We have been having a blast though. Trip to the Red is already in the works!

Welcome back! Why have we not seen any pics of your other adventures!

I shamefully admit that photography is another hobby I have taken up. :D

Hopefully I can find more time for BF and avoid the gear whoring this time.

Here's a few pictures from climbing last weekend:

Nice GL shots Tom. It looks like Doug's Roof is missing a couple of chunks since the last time I was on it.
