Brownshoe, Coop- thanks for the suggestions. I will be doing clips and initially thought about just mounting them on the surface.......but you guys are right, an inset clip would be much more appropriate, especially for my tastes.
Coop- I'm guessing that you were talking about the screw holes not being chamferred? Yeah, you're right. In fact, I do that on most everything else and just plain overlooked it here. I'm kind of embarrassed by that actually, that I didn't catch it I mean. I totally agree with you. The nice thing is, I can still do it.
It does feel very good in hand. I took care to 'dehorn' all the sharp edges on the inside of the liner, everywhere they are exposed. The edges are still crisp, just not sharp. There is nothing on this that bites the hand at all. I too, much prefer softened edges and the way they feel.
