Hey all,
I've been very busy setting up my own shop. I no longer work at the forge I was working with before. It's a long story...

Anyway, I just built a 2 burner forge, bought a new (1940-something columbia) 125# anvil, new hammers, Drill press, bandsaw, torch, O2 tank, grinder, etc. etc. So now I'm fully self contained at my own shop from start finish. I'm very excited about getting back on track with my knives.

I'll post up some pics here in the next few days.

No, but I was working out of a forge where I started as an apprentice smith.
We were making knives (well, I was anyway) for ren faires in the area. I got 50% of the profit from any knives I made.

Someone got jealous and decided to revoke my access, so I started my own.

I have a camera, and have taken a few pics so far. I'll format them and put some up later this afternoon. Everything is set up in my garage, so it's nothing fancy, but I have everything I need, and it's as close to home as you can get. lol
