hey Jeff.

The Kalinga is a screaming deal. Idk what these are but they are odd.

Says located in Vietnam. They sold 30 124's over the last few months. They have actually been selling quite a few Buck Knives in general at prices that if bought at 50% off retail (wholesale)
and offering free shipping minus sellers fees where is the profit? Something doesn't add up.

It's been going on for awhile.

I started a thread on this, but last time this was brought up, everything was censored out and the thread was closed.
hmmm.

(Not to mention all the lovely PM's from all the Kool-Aide drinkers.)

In hunting, if someone is poaching, you report them.
If someone is selling counterfeit Buck's, Buck has a department to report it to.
This.....?

......My time machine says "nothing nefarious" is going on.

This could be a bait & switch. I’m on a fishing forum site, same kind of deal has been reported - you buy a nice Penn or Shimano reel, open the box and get a KastKing! Buyer beware! OH

Wholesale on the 040 Onset is $110 yet this seller is selling them for $101.75 if you buy 4 or more.

sounds like the info got to the right person. Thanks Mike. I've never heard of this dealer before Thanks for the heads up.
Pretty weird account name and listings. Im sure this is a scam of some kind. Just not sure how unless the Buck knives are copies they are selling.

wonder how the sales of the 040 is going in general? don't see much here on it. anyone who plays on Facebook groups see action on them?

I have seen nothing about the Onset anywhere. Not Facebook, Instagram, or Reddit

My theory is that it is way overpriced for people to buy it to talk about it.

Agreed. And that’s a shame because it looks like a nice knife. It would be nice to handle and use one, see how Buck stacks up in the modern ‘flipper knife’ market. But for about half that price.
