Hey John have you ever thought about doing one of your great hawks with this kind of handle set up !

Looks neat, but I bet it`s all done on a CNC machine. It would be hard to freehand those inserts.

I have never enjoyed the partial handles. always end up wishing it was the full handles. that is a bad ass hawk though

Even if they weren't contoured with the finger grooves ?

make a smaller jig and contour the handles to it and then transfer them to the full sized piece.
