Thanks, Brett. My camera is starting to flake out on me, especially in the focus dept. It used to take great pix, but now I am lucky if it chooses to produce one that is clear. I change the settings to work for the angle, lighting, and distance like I always have, but then it resets itself. other little things are starting to go as well.
Time for a trip to the camera store...
I've been coveting the Fox River for quite awhile (actually, coveting everything in the BRKT line). This knife is everything I had hoped and more. I missed a couple whiskers shaving the day I got it, so I took the blade to my face, and the got whisked right off like it was a straight razor. Combined with my Gossman PSK Jr., I have a great combo of blades. I can start notches and cuts on wood with the Fox River, then My Gossman PSK, Jr. handles the fine work like I am an artist.
When Scott delivers my Massive Tusker, I will have the perfect Trio of knives for any occasion.
Nice thing about the Fox River is that it's robust for batoning and prying out wood when splitting, So it can handle some big knife chores if you use the right technique, but it still is versatile enough to be a great all around Bushcraft blade. Plus, the curring edge is actually just a hair under 4", making it legal to carry in the state of CT!l
Marty, you are the man! Thank you SO much for this surprise in the mail!!!!
