I'm disapointed that I can't make it to the convention ( I've been a long time lurker and big HI fan) It would be be nice to see you and any of the others- even though you haven't bought a knife from me since you came down with HIKV:) I'll only have one table but you know where to find me and it really is a great show - just wish it wasn't during the convention!
 
Hello Jack. Don't think I will make it to the Big Reno Show this time. I somehow think Uncle Bill will end up with all my money:D.

Just so everyone knows, Jack is to blame for infecting me with HIKV:D.
He is a great dealer and very honest. I have done a couple of trades with him and he always gives me Good Deals on knives. So anyway, I walk up to his booth and he starts telling me what he has under the table(he knows I like big knives). Says he has a HI Chiruwa AK 16.5", I say "Oh Really". He brings it out. This is when I was just starting to hear of HI Khukuris and was getting interested reading the forum. He hands it to me and and I don't think I put it down for like 10 minutes, except to pay him for it:D. My first HI khukuri, made by Bura to top it off.

That was last August, know I have 10:D.

At the last Big Reno Show(November?), I stumble into Jack before I even walk into the Gunshow. He tells me he has an 18" Chiruwa AK by Sher. Buy my ticket, walk to his booth, buy the Chiruwa. He spends my money before I even get into the show:D He has been a bad influence upon me infecting me with this virus. I have even sold knives that I thought I would never get rid of to support this habit.

Bumped into him ( Jack ) at Fallon. Had a Cold Steel 2X Voyager folding tanto with serrated 6" blade that gave me the gotta haves, but didn't have the money on me. Did pick up a voyager tanto 4" plain edge with broken zytel clip for a good price - only problem is shortly thereafter I misplaced my Red Endura that'd been my EDC for about 4 years. Anyway, the Cold Steel blade has been sharpened up til I'm not sure whether it or my straight razor is sharper - ( actually I had to resharpen the razor to give it a fair chance ).

Oh well, maybe one of these days I'll get a 2X tanto with plain 6 inch blade to modify to a scalpel shape just in case I run into a cardiologist before I can get an obsidian blade ready for the purpose of ripping his heart out ( maybe staking him out over a fireant hill first ). Did I mention that I've dreamed of doing that for almost 2 years now?

Hey Renoknives I'll be staying at the Hilton be comming in Fri morning in time for breakfast and opening doors...I hope...where inside will your table be set up, 1st room or 2nd? and what isle?
 
Renoknives is in the first room(smaller one). He is in the second isle from the wall seperating the two rooms. About three booths away from that hallway with refreshments that connects the two rooms. Jack would probably be able to explain it better. He will most likely have a couple HI products with him:)
 
Looks like we will be just where Logan described #59-5 Hope to be able to meet some of you and disappointed I can't make the convention. Jack
