I tried giving away a $900 stateside wilderness survival course but nobody even tried to win.

Break your leg and that two hour walk becomes a lot longer :). Skills and know how come in to use when you least expect it. Weather can turn a nice boatride or short hike into a wonderfully unexpected adventure.
 
The most fun we have on any trip is when things go wrong

Fill your tub, toss in some gold fish, and go through with cooking them lol.

very true - you wanted us to build and test out a site-built watercraft using only an ESEE (or RC) knife -- in WINTER!!! The ice here was thicker than my Izula is long...

It was really appealing, and a fantastic offer. I would have entered if my circumstances allowed it. Just letting you know that I appreciated the chance, even though I wasn't able to enter. :thumbup:
 
I'm in the PSK fishing thread.(fingers crossed).I love that you guys do this for your users/fans.
Oh BTW yeah things can be funny and go wrong on a trip.A 10 minute downpour while out in an impossibly small inflatable boat. Myself and my brother-in-law and a small case of beer and it was full.The beer cans came in handy as we needed to bale some when the heavy rain began to fill the boat.

From what I saw there's always a giveaway and at least one fits someone's bill.
 
I figure it's just a matter of time before some forum members sues us for discrimination since the contests may not fit their capability. :D

Hell I participated in the PSK contest from my kitchen.
I didnt think of buying a goldfish, damn.
I dont care if you guys chose my submission or not I had fun.
If I could have gone out and caught a fish I wouldve... probably still lost.
I still had fun.
Next shelter building contest Im gonna make a blanket tent in my living room with my 2 yr old!
I love this place!

Now I need to go read the panties thread cause I havent yet and well... now Im curious!

EDITED to add, How about an AH1 giveaway?
