Hi Guys, it's nice to see you all. I'm brand new here, but have been a member over at Candlepowerforums for a long time, so I see many familiar names. I avoided coming over here for years as I don't think I can afford getting too deep into Custom knives along with already being into Custom flashlights!

However, for years I knew I wanted a Sebenza. So I finally trimmed down my knives to those I really had a good use for, and I got my first CRK, a small Insingo from TNK, and I love it! In fact I now have a large Insingo on the way from BladeHQ to compliment it. Fortunately I like 'em vanilla so I was able to find the things I wanted in stock. :) Personally, I'd rather have a couple great and satisfying knives than a pile of crappy knives, and I think my Sebenzas will get the bulk of the carry. I have to compare them to McGizmo's lights: simple, no-nonsense, rock solid and dependable, but beautiful and expertly designed.

Anyhow, I don't know how much I'll venture around the rest of the forum but I did want to join in the fun here in Chris' subforum. Thanks for all your great informative posts; I'm sure I'll have some questions, but I also hope to be able to offer something in return sometime.

Two in a couple weeks is already more than I planned on, haha. It's gonna be a while before I can swing for another. But maybe then, a Zaan...
 
Hey npb! I saw your handle and recognized you from CPF!

Man, you're screwed... it's even more expensive to hang out here than CPF.:) But, at least now I have a nice Large Seb 21 Plain Jane with ladder Damascus and a Large Seb 21 Micarta Insingo to EDC along with my Cool Fall 007 Tri-V2/Thor's Hammer holster and my HDS Rotary 300/AOTH Sharkskin Holester.

Seriously, I love this place, especially the CRK subforum. Same kind of great people as at CPF, and a lot of the same ones also, as you've said. I should have gotten into this forum years ago.

Get a Zaan. I've got one I EDC for work every day. One of the best EDC's ever.

Hey buddy, another name I know! Good to see ya. Yeah that's why I'm afraid to venture, can't afford it! Lol. But I think I just might fit in here. :) Seems like that Zaan or Insingo should roll well with the HDS and the Dam Seb with the TriV. That is a super sweet pair! I was tempted by a large 21 with Dam blade on Blade HQ but I knew I'd have a hard time using that pretty blade and I don't do shelf queens. I love that there are so many user blades posted around here. That's awesome!
 
nbp...you wouldn't happen to be the gent I purchased the Orange preon 2xaaa from a few weeks back on CPF would you? If so welcome to my neck of the woods! I WARNED you about this place! Remember I said its a slippery slip?

Yep, the one and only! Haha. Glad my handle was available, sure makes it easier to be found. How's that Preon treating you?? I decided to come shining around, see what all the fuss was about. Your warning went unheeded and now I'm $800 poorer, hehehe.
