Hey Pitdog - Here's your 5/32" Bushcrafter

Brain - I think Doc should get a tester and I should get one - I live in Texas - he in Canada - this would give a severe climate change test. :D

Seriously - your work is getting damned good. I am interested in this one for sure.

I am in love with the grind on that knife!!

Now look. You guys are all up north. You have volunteer testers galore up there (No fair, Doc!). BUT.... what you don;t have are volunteer testers to give the knife a fair workout in New Mexico! Now, this is important: This is where I come in.

Outstanding grind job. Let's get one of those in the mail to me..... uhmmm, what's the price Brian?

ON EDIT: I didn;t see your post, Talfuchre. So...one more for the NM environment!

Looks really nice Brian! When and where are you planning on selling these? I'd hate to miss out on one!

That is a beautiful rendition of the Bushcraft design Brian...the contoured handles look exceptional.

I think Pitdog said something about only needing his Mora...so go ahead and I'll make sure it doesn't go to waste:D

I know you asked my about this particular thickness a couple times. I finally got around to doing one.

I had originally planned on backing off the grind by 2 degrees from the 1/8 version. But, I decided to leave this one as is. I like it so far.

Man, Brian I'm gobsmacked, that's exactly how I'd envisioned the perfect version to be !!!
Not meaning to sound like I'm sucking up but how ,when some talented makers spend years turning out knives and never quite manage to hit the bullseye, do you go and turn out a beauty like this so quickly ?
Please keep us updated on how you find it performs including, of course , some more pics !!!;)

Without being too presumptuous, I'd have to wager that it's because he's a knife user before being a knife maker. I think having used some of the iconic bushcrafters and seeing where they could be improved let such a cool knife come together.

I think most of the 'greats' around here are 'users first' too.

Yeah I think ya right bro that's why Scott Gossman makes such good hunting /skinning blades, it's because he hunts and knows what works !

That knife looks to be a great user with an added touch of class. I love the handle contours and the white liners really make that cocobolo stand out.
